Bruges, Belgium (June 2005)
We only had time to visit one city in Belgium, so we picked Bruges. It was a quaint
little medieval town full of life and history. You wont find any high-rises or modern-
style architecture. Most of the narrow streets are still cobblestone just like they were
hundreds of years ago. We really enjoyed our time here!

Bruges picturesque main square

Bruges has a few canals of its own

Destin couldn't resist an authentic Belgian Waffle... yummy!

Belgian chocolate comes in many varieties

Towers of all shapes and sizes

Colorful cafes are a common sight in Town Square

We liked this cute little bridge

Belgium also has windmills to control the water flow in and out of their canals
